A gallery produced by Monyusode, located in the cafe space of Fes Coffee by Lush Music.
The exhibition focuses on the works of Koutoku Kuramae, a ceramic artist living in south of Izu.
The variety of works includes sake pans, rice bowls, soy sauce bottles, mugs, and many other utilitarian pieces that fit well into daily life.
The blue vessels, named Kuramae Blue, are reminiscent of the beautiful sky and sea of Izu, and the energy of nature can be felt in these pieces.
Gallery of NyucoDeco separate
In a separate store in the same Hut Park, visitors can enjoy different artworks from the main house as the Gallery of NyucoDeco separate.
There is an exhibition of works by Kazuya Ishida, a Bizen Pottery artist from Bizen City, Okayama Prefecture. His works, which combine the tradition of Bizen Pottery with his expressive skills honed in England, fascinate people.
The oval oven plate is an impressive piece with a spiral pattern on its surface. Like the annual rings on a tree or the pattern on a shell, it is beautiful, as if it originally existed in the natural world.
Following the main house, Koutoku Kuramae's works can be seen in separate. The objects in the photo are an Izu soil teapot and a sake cup.
There will also be an exhibition of paintings by Midori Ito, a native of Hamamatsu City and representative of the Midori-no-Mori Art Museum.
Acrylic paintings depicting the sky and sea of Mochimune by Sora, an artist from Aichi Prefecture. The dynamic and impressive touch of the painting draws the viewer in.
Monyusode also sells accessories made by Monyuko at Monyusode. Each piece is made by Monyuko with her heart and soul, and is worth a look, even if you are not a fan of hers!
