We spoke with Emi Shibata from headquarters.

What prompted you to open Cookie Pige at HUTPARK?

"When HUTPARK was opening, I received an offer to open a shop from CSA. When I saw the site around the time the building was completed, I fell in love with it at first sight! Initially, I thought of opening Cheese Pige, but since we already have locations in Yaizu and Shizuoka Cenova, I decided to start the cookie specialty shop I had envisioned while exploring future developments. It felt like the puzzle pieces fit perfectly."

What kind of customers would you like to attract?

"While many of our customers at Cheese Pige are women in their 30s and 40s, I hope Cookie Pige can appeal to a wider age range. For example, it's adorable and makes me very happy when high school boys come by on their bikes to buy treats as Valentine's gifts. I envision creating a welcoming atmosphere that's accessible and appealing to younger generations, as they often have limited money."

Although we sell sweets, our core concept revolves around gifting. Gifts are passed from person to person, and each customer has unique stories and feelings when they visit. Cookie Pige aims to resonate with each customer's story and prioritize creating gifts that express gratitude.
